I was going to put all of these on yesterday with the daffodils, but I didn’t want the post to be overwhelming. So now that you’ve seen the daffs, here are some tulips:

I thought the variegation of this one. The colors are spectuacular.

I tried to show the depth of the tulip here. Maybe when they open up a bit more I can get some better shots of the bright colors inside.

Parrot tulip. There are only three of these in the whole park. Jesse calls these “cabbage tulips.”

Side shot. Again, incredible colors…

I went for a walk by myself in the park to enjoy the weather and check out the beautiful flowers. Jesse was in class, so it was a nice way to waste time and exercise a bit. I just hope the rest of the week is just as gorgeous!

A little dirty, but almost edible looking.

Hey look! A bug! Don’t try to tell me you aren’t excited…

Jess and I thought this looked like some sort of fabric.  It makes me think of silk or lace.

This one makes me think of rings on a tree.  It’s a little blurry, but I was in an awkward position to get the shot.

So, since I’m new to this and the novelty hasn’t worn off, here are some other pics for your viewing pleasure… I hope.
Jesse and I took a trip to the park and here are a couple things we found:

It was rainy when we went to the park and Jesse found this guy curled up cold and wet on the walkway.
